CHARLES LUDD, JR.
Founding Attorney

Charles Ludd, Jr. is an attorney with 13 years experience representing plaintiffs and winning for his clients. Charles takes a client centered approach to his counseling and advocacy. He provides each client with a focused and responsive approach to meeting their individual objectives.  Charles prides himself on being thoughtful, ethical, and methodical in his representation. 

 

Charles is a graduate of The George Washington University Law School. While in law school Charles completed internships in the fields of construction law and insurance defense litigation. He also completed a series of courses in litigation, trial advocacy and international law. Charles began his legal career at a prominent Los Angeles law firm.

Prior to law school, Charles gained experience in legislation and intergovernmental affairs while working for the California State Legislature, and the Office of Governmental Affairs, of the California Judicial Council. He received a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Riverside in 2006.

 

Charles was born and raised in the  Leimert Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA.

JESSICA LUDD
Managing Attorney

Jessica Ludd has been an advocate for the workers against the biggest companies since she began her career as an attorney over 13 years ago.

 

Previously, Jessica was a General Counsel to a nurse and healthcare worker union, United Nurses Associations of California/Union of Health Care Professionals (UNAC/UHCP), representing over 35,000 health care workers across California and Hawaii. Jessica also worked as counsel in the legal department of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) and an associate at a union-side labor law firm representing workers across Los Angeles. Through her experience Jessica has represented the diverse range of people that are the backbone of our communities and local economies such as nurses, healthcare workers, teachers, longshoremen, and actors. This experience has given her a deep knowledge and respect for all the work that drives our cities; and has deepened her commitment to ensuring that all workplaces are safe, fair, and free of discrimination.

 

Jessica began her legal career as a Social Justice Pathways Law Fellow at the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF).

Jessica is a graduate of Columbia Law School and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from UCLA. She was born in Mexico and immigrated with her parents to the United States as a young girl.
